Four spring feasts, fixed as dates centuries early, execute: three inside one week, the fourth fifty days on.
In plain words
Labelled speculation, stated at full strength: the spring feasts, fixed centuries in advance, are kept in the week of the cross and at Pentecost. On John's timing he dies on the day the lambs die, lies in the grave over Unleavened Bread, and rises on Firstfruits, and Pentecost follows fifty days on. Paul calls him “Christ our passover” and his rising “the firstfruits,” by the feasts' own names.
The mechanism
PLANTED / PAID — on John's timing he dies on the day the lambs die; he is in the ground for Unleavened Bread; Paul does not say like a passover to a Greek city that never kept one, he says Christ our passover, and names the resurrection firstfruits by the feast's own name
Scripture
